Chattahoochee River at Highway 141 near Norcross

28' - Record flooding not seen since January 1946 will inundate property along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on Medlock Bridge Road. Flood waters submerge numerous homes to their roofs in the area including those on Marsh Park Drive...Vista Bluff Drive...Hershinger Close and Saint Georgen Common. The Medlock Bridge Road will be under 4 feet of water. The Atlanta Athletic Club Golf Course will be flooded up to 14 feet deep.

24' - Major flooding expands with widespread inundation of property along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on Medlock Bridge Road. Flood waters submerge numerous homes and access roads in the area including those on Marsh Park Drive...Vista Bluff Drive...Hershinger Close and Saint Georgen Common. The Medlock Bridge Road will begin to flood. Large portions of the Atlanta Athletic Club Golf Course will be flooded up to 10 feet deep.

20' - Major flooding begins with widespread inundation of property along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on Medlock Bridge Road. Flood waters affect numerous homes in the area including those on Marsh Park Drive...Vista Bluff Drive...Hershinger Close and Saint Georgen Common. Some access roads will be flooded. The Medlock Bridge Park in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and large portions of the Atlanta Athletic Club Golf Course will be flooded up to 8 feet deep.

18' - Significant flooding expands into the woodlands and numerous residential yards along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on Medlock Bridge Road. Flood waters affect several homes in the area including those on Marsh Park Drive...Vista Bluff Drive...Hershinger Close and Saint Georgen Common. Some access roads will begin to flood. Portions of the Medlock Bridge Park in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and the Atlanta Athletic Club Golf Course will be flooded up to 6 feet deep.

16' - Moderate flooding begins. Significant flooding occurs in the woodlands and numerous residential backyards along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on Georgia Highway 141 or Medlock Bridge Road. Flood waters begin to enter some homes on Marsh Park Drive...Vista Bluff Drive...Hershinger Close and Saint Georgen Common. Portions of the Medlock Bridge Park in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and the Atlanta Athletic Club Golf Course will be flooded up to 4 feet deep.

14' - Minor flooding expands into the woodlands and numerous residential backyards along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on Georgia Highway 141 or Medlock Bridge Road. Portions of the Medlock Bridge Park in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and the Atlanta Athletic Club Golf Course will be flooded up to two feet deep.

12' - Flood Stage is reached. Minor flooding begins in the woodlands and numerous residential backyards of homes along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on Georgia Highway 141 or Medlock Bridge Road. Flood waters will begin to cover a parking lot at Medlock Bridge Park in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. Low lying portions of the Atlanta Athletic Club Golf Course will begin to flood.

9' - Bankfull conditions occur along the river upstream and downstream from the gage at Georgia Highway 141 or Medlock Bridge Road. The water level reaches the top of the boat ramp of the Medlock Bridge Park in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area.
