Hydrograph for Noxubee River at Macon
39' - In west Macon, houses are flooded along Ridge Street on both sides to 3rd street. Water is backed up drainage ditch to 4th Street on south side of Ridge Street. Houses are flooded along lower west 8th street below Gillespie Road. Houses are flooded at the intersection of south Wayne Street and South Street. Water has backed up a drainage ditch between south Wayne Street and East Street and also houses at Dr Martin Luther King Dr near Cedar Creek are flooded.
38.5' - Water reaches the level of Old Highway 45 and begins to overflow on the road. Flooding of structures is occurring in western sections of Macon and along Cedar Creek in the east.
38' - Houses flood along Cedar Creek on the east side of Macon. Flooding from 2nd and Ridge streets up to ridge and 4th Street. Houses on each side of the road are flooded.
37.5' - Water begins to cover a portion Walker Road east of Highway 45.
37' - House south of Ridge Drive near 3rd street floods.
36' - Water reaches the bottom of the Old highway 45 bridge at Macon. In east Macon, water covers intersection of South Street and Wayne street along Cedar Creek. Also water covers portion of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Drive nearest Cedar Creek. Water covers the bottom of west 8th Street. Water approaches houses on west 8th street south of Gillespie Road.
35.5' - In east Macon, water is close to covering the intersection of South Street and South Wayne street along Cedar Creek. Water is also close to covering Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Drive nearest Cedar Creek.
35' - In western Macon, water backs up to houses just south of Ridge Street and 3rd Street. Water flows into the lower sewage lagoon of Superior Fish Products southeast of Macon.
34' - On the west side of Macon, water from Horse Hunters Creek is backing into a drainage ditch just south of Ridge Street.
32' - Water surrounds sewage lagoon west of Macon; however, access road is not blocked.
31' - Water covers roadway leading from cattle farmland to chicken coops downstream of Highway 45 bridge on the left side.
29' - Significant overflow into lowland and cattle grazing land near the Highway 45 bridge.
28' - Cattle grazing land downstream of highway 45 on the left side begins to flood.
25' - Water begins to back into cattle farmland from the southwest just east of Highway 45.
