35' - The Flood wall protecting the Quincy Water Plant is overtopped. The South Quincy Drainage District levee is overtopped near this height, flooding 5500 acres on the Illinois side 1 to 9 miles downstream of Quincy.
34' - Near this height, the South Quincy Drainage District levee overtops.
31' - The Comstock Stove Castle Company warehouse begins flooding near this height.
30.8' - Near this height, all roads leading to Bottom Road north of Quincy are closed to all traffic.
29.7' - Indian Grave Levee north of Quincy is overtopped.
29.6' - The Fabius River Drainage District levee is overtopped near this height, flooding 14000 acres on the Missouri side from 5 miles upstream of Quincy and 4 miles downstream of Quincy.
29.5' - The main floor of the South Side Boat Club floods near this height. Also, the Union Township Drainage District levee is overtopped, flooding 5000 acres on the Missouri side about 4 to 8 miles upstream of Quincy.
29' - R.J. Peters Drive in south Quincy is closed between 8th Street and Gardner Expressway, or Illinois Route 57.
28.8' - Flood water reaches the low steel on the BNSF bridge in Quincy.
28.2' - Damage begins at Quincy sewage treatment plant.
28' - The city of Quincy begins sandbagging. Also, the land around the log cabins at Log Cabin Village on Quinsippi Island begins flooding.
26.3' - Eastbound lanes of the US Highway 24 bridge (Memorial Bridge) are closed. Eastbound traffic is diverted to the northern US Highway 24 bridge, or onto the Bayview Bridge.
26' - At this height, Quinsippi Island roads flood by the park shelters and Lenane Park begins flooding.
24' - In Quincy, Bonansinga Drive is closed at Cedar Street and at Koch's Lane. Illinois Highway 57 is closed between Jefferson Street and the Gardner Denver company. The Art Keller Marina docks are cabled off and closed.
23.5' - County Highway 7 in Quincy south of Parker Heights Park is flooded.
22.1' - Bonansinga Drive at Bob Bangert Park begins to flood. Also, the basement of the South Side Boat Club begins flooding near this height.
22' - The Clat Adams Bicentennial Park, just north of the Memorial Bridge, begins flooding. Also at this height, most roads in Kesler Park are flooded.
21.9' - The lower floor of the Quincy Boat House begins flooding near this height.
21.1' - The roundabout at the north entrance to the Clat Adams Bicentennial Park begins flooding at this height.
20' - All America and Bob Bangert parks begin to flood. Also, the Art Keller Marina walkways and the south boat ramp at Kesler Park begin flooding.
19.5' - Garages beneath raised homes along Bonansinga Drive will begin flooding near this height.
18.5' - BNSF Railroad main line, 10 to 16 miles above Quincy begins to flood at several locations.
15' - Riverside campsites south of Quincy begin to flood.
14' - Unprotected bottomlands flood on both sides of the river above and below the gage.
