17.5' - Approaching low steel of County Road 400S. A flood nearly two feet higher than June 2008. State Road 252 east of Youngs Creek...County Road 400S west of Youngs Creek and several other county roads are extensively flooded. Travel by vehicle in southern portion of Johnson County nearly impossible.
15.9' - A great flood similar to June 2008 in progress. Local county roads are extensively flooded, with rescue for those driving into them only possible by boat. SR 252 just downstream of the gage site is extensively flooded. Possible local landslides along Youngs Creek on right bank just downstream of SR 252 occurred in June 2008. Extensive crop damage. Water nearing low steel of CR 400 S bridge.
15' - Approaching a record flood. SR 252 and numerous local roads are closed. Travel very difficult in local area at best. Only the June 2008 flood exceeded this level since 1941.
14' - Flood waters begin to go over SR 252. Major flooding affected extensive agricultural lands and some residential and commerical areas. Travel in local area rather difficult because many local roads are flooded.
13' - Unusal flooding along Youngs Creek. Only three floods since 1941 crested at or above this level. Water approaching SR 252. Some residential and commercial areas are affected. Numerous local roads flooded by a foot or more of water. Extensive agricultural flooding.
12' - Extensive flooding in progress along Youngs Creek. Flood waters affect parks, roads and a few residential and commercial areas.
11' - Flooding along Youngs Creek becoming more extensive. Historically since 1941, most floods crest at or below this level.
10' - Significant flooding in progress. Parks and some local roads are flooded by a foot or more of water. Agricultural flooding is noticeable.
9' - Johnson County Roads 350 S and 400 S west of US 31 are closed by flood waters. Upstream in Youngs Creek watershed, flooding of city of Franklin parks with flood waters possibly 3 feet deep in some areas. CR 200 N at CR 75 W on northwest side of Franklin and CR 250 S west of US 31 closed by high water. Amity ditch is out of its banks.
7' - Youngs Creek at flood stage. Most low areas along creek are flooded. Approaches to CR 400S bridge over Youngs Creek begin to flood.
5' - Youngs Creek approaching bankfull conditions.
