Major flooding of Salt Creek downstream of Monroe Lake. Flood levels are more than 4 feet higher than any previous high water since Monroe Dam went into operation in April 1966. Extensive flooding of roads and some residential areas may be flooded.

On May 4, 2011 with a Monroe pool elevation of 557.20 feet and discharge of 2,260 cubic feet per second, local roads were flooded in the Guthrie Bottoms. If water levels go much higher some residents will be isolated. Peerless Road over both Gulletts and Salt Creeks flooded with the portion over Gulletts Creek flooded much higher. Extensive flooding along East Fork White River with Rivervale at 30 feet, Bedford at 28 feet and Williams at 15.5 feet.

On May 10, 2011 Peerless Road over Gulletts Creek in Salt Creek Bottom remained extensively flooded. Rivervale was 23.5 feet and falling, Bedford was 22 feet and falling, Williams was 9.5 feet and falling and Monroe Lake was discharging over 2,900 cfs.

On May 11, 2011, as much as 1 foot of water remained on Peerless Rd. in the Salt Creek Bottoms. Discharge from Monroe Lake was 2,900 cfs with Rivervale at 20 feet and falling, Bedford at 19 feet and falling and Williams at 8 feet and falling.

Salt Creek reached this level as a result of backwater from the East Fork White River flood of December 2013. The crest at Bedford was 27.6 feet and caused a rise at gage site of nearly 6 feet. There was no rainfall during this period and the temperature was below freezing much of the time.

Salt Creek stopped falling at gage site with a level of about 21.2 feet at the Bedford Boat Club gage during December 2013 flood.
