37' - Flood waters will begin to spill over the concrete wall and earth dike which protects Augusta. Extensive agricultural flooding is expected. The city's water plant may become inundated with flood waters.
36' - Major Stage. Water is at the top of the concrete wall and earth dike that protects the city of Augusta. At this stage, extensive agricultural areas will be flooded and substantial monetary losses will result if flooding occurs during the crop season.
30' - North of Augusta, the railways will begin to flood.
29' - Sandbag or close break in the dike at the Atchison Topeka and Sante Fe railroad south of town will commence.
28' - Flooding of secondary roads as well as flooding of parts of the railroads south of Augusta will occur.
25' - Secondary roads in the vicinity of Augusta begin to flood.
