39' - expect major and historic flooding in Albany and surrounding areas. 1st Avenue in Albany was flooded during the great flood of 1890 at this level. Expect widespread flooding in Albany and North Albany.
34' - expect backwater flooding on the Calapooia River which will likely cause flooding of some residential areas in the southwest part of Albany. Also expect widespread flooding in North Albany in the vicinity of Springhill Road and Quarry Road. Expect widespread flooding along Willamette from the town of Riverside upstream to Buena Vista downstream.
33.5' - the flow is 177,000 cfs, which has a 1 percent chance of occurring in any given year (aka the 100-year flood). Expect widespread flooding in parts of Albany and along the Willamette from Riverside upstream to Buena Vista downstream.
32' - the flow is about 153,000 cfs, which has about a 2 percent chance of happening in a given year (aka the 50-year flood). Expect widespread flooding in lower parts of Albany, especially North Albany in the vicinity of Springhill Road and Quarry Road. Also expect flooding along the Willamette from the town of Riverside upstream to Buena Vista downstream.
30' - expect flooding of Bryant Park, along with widespread flooding of low-lying agricultural land near Albany and North Albany.
28' - the flow is about 102,000 cfs, which has a 10 percent chance of happening in a given year (aka the 10-year flood). Expect some flooding in North Albany, in Bryant Park, and in low areas west of Albany.
27' - expect some flooding in Bryant Park, as well as some flooding in South Albany.
