The afternoon high of 100 degrees at Red Bluff CA was the latest such reading of record for so late in the autumn season.

Heart Butte (Blackfeet: Moskizipahpi-istaki / Moskitsipahpiistaki) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Pondera County, Montana, United States. The population was 698 at the 2000 census. The town is on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation.
The town takes its name from the small heart-shaped peak southwest of town.
