About Lackey, Virginia

Lackey (also known locally in its heyday as "the Reservation") was a small unincorporated community near Yorktown in York County, Virginia, United States, established primarily after the Civil War. Lackey is now extinct as the properties were bought by the federal government in 1918 for use as a naval military installation.
