.DISCUSSION... Issued at 220 PM CDT Fri Oct 10 2025
Mostly clear skies and light winds are expected tonight, which will allow temperatures to plummet across the region. Lows tonight are expected to fall into the lower 30s across the north, middle to upper 30s in central, and around 40 across east-central Wisconsin and 40s along the lakeshore. Since headlines have ceased across north-central Wisconsin will not issue anything; however, portions of central Wisconsin are expected to experience frost with temperatures in the middle 30s. Therefore, will issue a Frost Advisory for western portions of this area expected to have the highest chance of experiencing frost.
Winds will turn northeasterly on Saturday, especially along the lakeshore, which will bring in clouds across eastern Wisconsin late tonight and into Saturday. This feed of moisture off the lake will also bring the chance for some showers (20 percent) as well Saturday afternoon across this region. Temperatures on Saturday are expected to be in the lower to middle 60s.
Otherwise, continue to highlight another cold front coming through Sunday night/Monday which will bring the next chance for precip area wide. Models have slowed down through the midweek, keeping surface high pressure in place for a bit longer, and mainly dry weather Tuesday and Wednesday. Rain chances then return by the end of next week.
Temperatures will be slightly above normal through Monday with highs mainly in the 60s, and lows in the 40s. Readings fall closer to normal for the rest of next week.
