.DISCUSSION... Issued at 125 PM CDT Sun Sep 21 2025
Expect daily diurnally driven showers and thunderstorms to continue through the week along the seabreeze. Models depict a boundary pushing down through Texas and potentially reaching into South Texas. Solutions are still on the fence as far as timing and if it will completely push through South Texas or meander just to the north. Regardless, however moisture convergence and present lift associated with the boundary will likely lead to an increased risk of showers and thunderstorms (30-60%) around the middle of the week. Be sure to check back for future updates.
Expect hot and humid conditions to persist through the remainder of the week. However, a slight cool down of temperatures can be expected beginning during the latter part of the week due to the increased cloud cover and potential influx of drier air into the region. Will have to monitor this as temperatures could be lower if the front pushes through the area.
