.SYNOPSIS... High pressure will shift slowly east across the region this week, resulting in dry conditions and a gradual warming trend.

.NEAR TERM /THROUGH TODAY/... Surface high pressure will be centered over the lower Great Lakes today. With a little bit of airmass modification, temperatures will be a couple of degree warming today than on Sunday with afternoon highs in the low to mid 70s.

.SHORT TERM /TONIGHT THROUGH 6 PM TUESDAY/... The surface high will shift slowly east tonight through Tuesday. As we get into some weak return flow, temperatures will begin to slowly modify. Lows tonight will be mostly in the 40s with highs on Tuesday in the 75 to 80 degree range.
