  this weekend into next week. A slight warming trend next week.

Northerly flow aloft and surface high pressure continue to keep us
mostly clear and cooler this evening and into the weekend. A
gradual warming trend commences as upper-level ridging increases
across the Lower Mississippi Valley. This will continue to limit
overall boundary layer moisture and keep precipitation chances
near zero into next week. A quick moving cold front may bring some
low precipitation chances to the area late next week, but at this
time, precipitation chances remain very low because of limited
moisture ahead of the front and questions with the location and
timing of the front.
For now, mostly clear conditions, seasonal temperatures, and dry
weather continue for most, if not all, of the upcoming 7 days.

A mention of fog will be added to the TRI TAF as some model
guidance is trending in that direction. Clear/calm conditions and
rapid cooling after sunset should lead to fog in valleys, near
lakes, and fog-prone locations like TRI. VLIFR conditions are
possible, but will mention LIFR for now in a TEMPO given the
uncertainty.
