Will have extremely warm conditions today with highs around 10
degrees above normal with 60s to lower 70s mountains and mid to
upper 70s valleys. Will start to see moisture work north in
southerly flow aloft with showers moving back into southeast
Idaho overnight tonight and continuing Friday. Will remain warm
Friday with highs in the 60s and 70s. Will have 10 to 20 mph
afternoon winds both today and Friday mainly out of the south
ahead of cld front.

Strong cold front moves through Idaho Saturday with heaviest
showers expected Saturday night. Highs mainly 50s and 60s on
Saturday with 10 to 20 mph winds. Showers taper off Sunday with
cold temperatures in the 40s and 50s with some 30s very high
elevations. Snow levels will drop to the 5 to 6 thousand foot
range Saturday night into Sunday. One half inch to one inch
liquid is possible with the system in the eastern mountains with
2 to 6 tenths in the Snake Plain and lesser amounts in the
central mountains.  Monday will be the driest day in the long
term with cool temperatures in the 50s again with showers again
expected Tuesday through Thursday. Highs in the 40s and 50s
Tuesday through Thursday with below normal temperatures
continuing.

No major impacts today with some high cloud cover with some
afternoon wind gusts near 20 knots at IDA and PIH. A wave in
southerly flow will bring rain showers after 06Z overnight and
have at PIH and IDA and vicinity at the other sites.

Warm and dry conditions today with showers expected tonight
through Sunday with some drying Monday and showers again Tuesday
through Thursday. It will turn sharply colder Saturday behind a
cold frontal passage with the cooler conditions continuing
through next week.
