There`s plenty of blue sky out there today after the morning fog
mixed out. The radar is picking up plenty of returns. That`s not
rain, but instead likely migratory birds. The upper ridge is
pushing east into the area which will squash the low shower
chances we saw yesterday. There could be a little valley fog
Saturday morning, otherwise Saturday is looking sunny and warm.
After starting in the mid 50s to around 60 degrees, the area will
warm into the mid 80s to lower 90s with comfortable humidity.

The warm and dry pattern continues in the extended period with the
upper ridging holding firm. Look for highs to creep into the mid 90s
Sunday and stay there next week. While it will be hot, I don`t
think it will be record breaking. The record highs for Nashville
for Sunday through Wednesday are 99, 98, 99, and 99 respectively.
The long range forecast continues to favor above normal
temperatures and below normal precipitation. Not good news given
the growing drought conditions.

High pressure will maintain presence across Middle TN which will
promote continued light/variable winds, though should favor E
through the period. Watching for IFR vis potential at SRB again
tonight, with MVFR vis potential at CSV. Otherwise, no
rain/thunder chances as this time.
