A low pressure system over southern CA will slowly move northward into the Great Basin tonight. High level clouds will stream northward into southeast OR and southwest ID late this afternoon, with mostly cloudy skies into Saturday and Sunday. The shower and thunderstorm chances expand into southeast Oregon and the higher terrain south of the Snake River Plain Saturday evening. These showers and storms have the potential to produce outflow wind gusts up to 50 mph.
