.SYNOPSIS... Warm, dry, and breezy conditions today with chances for rain later this evening into Thursday and more earnestly Friday into Saturday.

* TODAY:
- Dry and mild weather today with breezy southerly winds and gusts up to 15-25 MPH.
* THURSDAY-SUNDAY
- This evening into Thursday afternoon will have a 20-40% chance of rain but no significant impacts are expected. Best chances occur over the Coastal Range with up to an half-inch of rain.
- Bigger push of rain develops Friday into Saturday morning with periods of rain over the northern Sacramento Valley and mountain areas north of I-80. Minimal travel impacts expected with a low chance (5-15%) of thunderstorms over the Coastal Range and northeast foothills. Highest totals will be over the mountains around 0.25 - 0.50" and light accumulations at lower elevations.
- Non-zero chances for light, high elevation mountain snow, though little if any impacts are expected and confidence is low.
- Temperatures will trend cooler late week into next weekend, with Valley high temperatures in the 70s. Periods of breezy onshore winds are anticipated as well.

South winds 10-20 kts across the Sac. Valley until 03z Thu, strongest over the Delta. Winds will linger across portions of the northern Sac. Valley with their adjacent foothills and across the Delta with gusts up to 20 kts thru 18z Thu.
