.DISCUSSION... Issued at 1135 AM CDT Mon Oct 6 2025
We continue on our stretch of rather benign weather days. An upper-level ridge of high pressure will build over Texas through this week keeping the region unseasonably warm and mostly rain- free. Cannot out-rule an isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm, especially south of I-10, due to daytime heating and moisture moving in from the Gulf. Guidance continues to indicate a weak boundary sliding in from the north Thursday or Friday ushering in drier, slightly cooler conditions.
Afternoon high temperatures through Wednesday will be in the low to mid-90s with overnight lows in the low to mid-70s. Once that weak boundary moves through the region expected daytime highs to cool to the upper 80s to low 90s and overnight lows generally into the low to mid 60s.

.AVIATION... (12Z TAF Issuance) Issued at 618 AM CDT Mon Oct 6 2025
Outside of some patchy fog, most impactful at LBX, this forecast will feature the same pattern we`ve seen for several days. VFR should prevail with FEW-SCT clouds during the day and winds shifting from more northeasterly early to ESE/SE in the afternoon with the seabreeze. Winds should be slightly lower than the past couple days, more in the 5-10 knot range at peak. Seabreeze SHRA/TSRA coverage still too low to mention in any TAFs explicitly.

.MARINE... Issued at 1135 AM CDT Mon Oct 6 2025
Light onshore flow and low seas will continue through Wednesday. An increase in the onshore winds, to around 15-20kt with higher gusts, will begin as early as Wednesday night and persist through Friday. This increase in winds will likely also increase wave heights to 4-6ft in the coastal waters, and an increase in water- levels in the Bays and immediate coast. There will continue to be a daily chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms through this week.
