Switzer is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Logan County, West Virginia, United States. The CDP includes the neighboring unincorporated community of Micco. The total CDP population was 593 at the 2020 census (slightly down from 595 at the 2010 census).
The community was, most likely, named after the local Switzer family.
