.AVIATION /00Z TAFS THROUGH 00Z WEDNESDAY/... Issued at 526 PM MDT Mon Sep 22 2025
A system is just exiting southeast Idaho with lingering light showers, mainly along the Wyoming border. Clouds are starting to clear with high pressure building in from the west. Winds have dropped off as well and look to remain light through the period. Only other concern might be potential stratus development into PIH and IDA toward sunrise. Left a hedge cloud deck in place but retained VFR for now.

.FIRE WEATHER... Issued at 1251 PM MDT Mon Sep 22 2025
Last gasp of showers moving through Zone 413 early this afternoon. There is still a non-zero chance to see a stray shower or thunderstorm this afternoon generally 410/411/413, otherwise dry conditions are already shifting into the region. Ridge of high pressure builds into the west for the week. While the ridge still appears to weaken heading into the weekend, the flow generally stays dry until potentially early next week. Daytime surface humidities rapidly dry out through midweek, likely lowest late in the week with a few areas across the Snake Plain trending back toward marginally critical around 15%.
