Remnant low level moisture will allow for some fog potential tonight under mostly clear skies. Dense fog will be possible, with the greatest potential west of Highway 65. Otherwise, conditions will remain quiet through the short term.

Look for highs in the mid to upper 70s this afternoon and around 80 Friday. Lows tonight will be in the 50s.

.LONG TERM /FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY/... Issued at 1019 AM CDT Thu Sep 25 2025

The area will come under the influence of a strong upper ridge later this week into or through all of next week. This will lead to temperatures rising to above normal values with highs in the low to mid 80s starting Saturday, along with dry weather. This coincides with the CPC 6-10 and 8-14 day outlooks which favor above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation.

VFR conditions this afternoon and evening, with fog developing tonight into Friday morning. Dense fog is possible, especially at KJLN. VFR conditions will then resume after fog burns off Friday morning.
