.SYNOPSIS... High pressure will provide for dry conditions for the next several days. Temperatures will gradually moderate back to more seasonable readings as we progress through the week.
&&
.NEAR TERM /THROUGH TONIGHT/... An upper level trough with an embedded mid level short wave will move east across the region today. However, with surface high pressure building in from the west and a lack of deeper moisture, think the net effect will just be partly to occasionally mostly cloudy skies today. We will remain seasonably cool with afternoon highs in the 70 to 75 degree range.
&&
.SHORT TERM /MONDAY/... Surface high pressure will build east across the region tonight into Monday. This will lead to continued dry and cool conditions. Lows tonight will be in the 40s with highs on Monday in the low to mid 70s.
&&
.LONG TERM /MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY/... A dry forecast is in store for the region as high pressure remains the dominant weather feature. After morning lows on Monday in the mid-upper 40s and daytime highs in the upper 70s, it will warm up with highs in the low-mid 80s and lows in the mid-upper 50s.
&&
.AVIATION /10Z SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY/... An area of mid level clouds will push east across the region this morning. High pressure and a dry airmass will build into the region through tonight. Some river valley fog will be possible again later tonight so will allow for some MVFR vsby restrictions at KLUK toward the end of the TAF period. Otherwise, VFR conditions will prevail.
OUTLOOK...No significant weather expected.
