.SHORT TERM... (Rest of today through Tuesday) Issued at 1132 AM CDT Mon Sep 15 2025
The scattered showers that moved north to south across Perry and Wayne Counties this morning have dissipated with the sunrise. Dry conditions expected today and tonight. There could be some patchy fog...especially along the plateau and by bodies of water tonight.

With the area being so dry the few hundreths to a quarter of an inch that some locations might receive will be more of a welcome than a flooding threat. Temperatures will continue warm and a few degrees above normal for this time of year.
