.SYNOPSIS... High pressure remains stationed across the eastern seaboard through the weekend before exiting east. Low pressure traversing across the Upper Midwest into Canada will drag a cold front across the Great Lakes Tuesday into Wednesday.

.NEAR TERM /THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT/... High pressure will continue to influence the local weather through this weekend with warming temperatures anticipated. Overnight lows tonight will be slightly warmer than last night as they settle in the lower 50s with isolated upper 40s across interior Northwest Pennsylvania. High temperatures on Friday will be 5-10 degrees warmer than today as they rise into the low to mid 80s for most, mid to upper 70s across Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania. Overnight lows on Friday will dip into the low 50s east of the I-71 corridor with mid to upper 50s expected west of the I-71 corridor.

.SHORT TERM /SATURDAY THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT/... High pressure begins to exit to the east this weekend but will largely remain in control with above normal high temperatures and dry weather expected to persist. Areawide high temperatures in the 80s are likely through the weekend with highs 85+ F likely along the I-75 corridor. Overnight lows will generally settle in the 50s each night.

.LONG TERM /MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY/... Dry weather comes to an end in the long term as a cold front approaches the Great Lakes region. Monday should largely remain dry ahead of the arrival of the front with increased precipitation chances Monday night into Tuesday. Highest precipitation chances will occur with the frontal passage Tuesday afternoon through early Wednesday morning. Another area of high pressure builds overhead behind the cold front Wednesday into Thursday which will diminish any lingering precipitation.

High temperatures will peak on Monday ahead of the cold front in the low to mid 80s. Slightly cooler on Tuesday with highs in the upper 70s. High temperatures behind the cold front drop into the lower 60s Wednesday and Thursday.

.AVIATION /18Z Thursday THROUGH Tuesday/... VFR conditions will continue through the TAF period as high pressure moves along the east coast. Winds will be predominantly out of the southeast today with some light variable winds at times as well. High level clouds will be in and around the region through the evening and overnight hours. For tomorrow morning, some patchy fog may occur in western Ohio with possible impacts to TOL and FDY from 10-13Z. VFR is expected for the remainder of the TAF period afterwards.

Outlook...VFR is expected through early next week. A cold front will approach the area on Tuesday and non-VFR will be possible.

.MARINE... Conditions across Lake Erie will remain calm with high pressure over the east coast influencing the region. Winds will be light at less than 10 knots out of the east-southeast through the weekend. There may be times of stronger winds out of the south Saturday into Sunday, but will stay less than 15 knots. Waves will be less than 1 foot through the end of the weekend.
